The science and engineering
hub of Limoges
To the north of Limoges, the La Borie area brings together much of the University of Limoges' science and engineering teaching: the Faculty of Science and Technology, the IUT du Limousin, the Faculty of Sport Science (STAPS), along with several sixth-form colleges offering BTS courses (Suzanne Valadon, Turgot). The ENSIL-ENSCI engineering school completes this technical cluster to the north of the city.
It is one of the most convenient districts for a student in science, technology or sport science: you live right next to the lecture halls while staying about ten minutes by bus from the city centre. It is also where Begip manages two of its three student residences — so you can live a stone's throw from your classes, with a genuine local contact.
